About Us
Nairobi Book Love, is a literary platform rooted in the belief that books can be a catalyst for connection, reflection, and social change.
Founded in February 2019 by writer and cultural curator Kui Kabala, Nairobi Book Love began as an intimate book club for curious, socially aware readers seeking deeper conversations beyond the page.
What started as a small circle of passionate readers has since blossomed into a vibrant literary movement. Over the years, Nairobi Book Love has evolved into a podcast series, a hub for book-themed events, and a growing community of readers, writers, artists, and thinkers who believe in the power of storytelling to shape culture and ignite collective imagination.
We curate bold and inclusive conversations around literature, centering stories that challenge, heal, provoke, and inspire. Our gatherings - whether over coffee, on a live stage, or in cozy reading corners - are grounded in a commitment to building a more just and thoughtful world through books.
